My Get Away

Well last week was emotionally difficult. I know I did the right thing in a certain situation but the parties involved probaly would disagree right now. Doing the right thing can be emotionally draining.

So today I am going away on a pastor/wives get away in Colonial Williamsburg. I will miss my kids but it will be nice to get away with Jason and rejuvenate.

feeling sapped out

Did you ever feel just sapped out? Well that is how I am feeling tonight. Just plan old sapped out from life. I feel like I just need a long weekend and to get rejuvenated.

So if you are thinking of me, pray that God gives me new strength this week.

Cell phone vs my Bible

I wonder, what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to our kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of an emergency?

One of our teachers brought this in to read in regards to reading our Bibles.

It definelty made me think!
