I wonder, what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?
What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several times a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?
What if we gave it to our kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of an emergency?
One of our teachers brought this in to read in regards to reading our Bibles.
It definelty made me think!

I have given a Bible to my boys as gifts. We read our Bible every morning (most every morning) after breakfast before getting ready for the day. And we are Catholic. Imagine that. (and, yes, I know there are problems with the Catholic religion.)
Oh! And I forgot! We have taken our Bible with us on vacation and actually used it!!
But cell phones are so much more useful! And there is so much great fiction in the world. Why focus only on one book?
